While the Chinese Law on the Application of Law in Foreign-Related Civil Relationships that came into force in 2011 looks very similar to its Western blueprints, some major differences remain. To enhance the understanding of the particularities of the Chinese Private International Law, the present book provides not only the translation of the relevant laws and regulations into English accompanied by Pinyin transcription, but also an introduction with references to publications available in Western languages.
